The Logos Free Book of the Month for December 15-31 is A. A. MacIntosh; C.L. Engle, The T&T Clark Hebrew Primer (Bloomsbury T&T Clark, 2014). The Logos edition is enhanced by linking Important terms to dictionaries, encyclopedias, and a wealth of other resources in your digital library. Use your tablet and mobile apps to get the most out of your study.
In addition to the free book, Logos is offering deep discounts on these resources:
- James Moffat, The Theology of the Gospels (Charles Scribner’s Sons, 1913), $0.99
- J. G. McConville, Law and Theology in Deuteronomy (Journal for the Study of the Old Testament Supplement Series, Vol. 33), $1.99
- Rebecca McLaughlin, Confronting Jesus: 9 Encounters with the Hero of the Gospels, $2.99
- Gary Burge, Jesus and the Land: How the New Testament Transformed ‘Holy Land’ Theology, $3.99
- C. K. Barrett, The First Epistle to the Corinthians (Black’s New Testament Commentary), $4.99
- ESV Concise Study Bible Notes, $5.99
- John Beck, ed., Baker Illustrated Guide to Everyday Life in Bible Times, $6.99
- F. F. Bruce, The Epistle to the Galatians (The New International Greek Testament Commentary), $7.99
- A. E. Harvey, Renewal through Suffering: A Study of 2 Corinthians (Studies of the New Testament and its World), $8.99
- Mounce’s Complete Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words $9.99
- W. Robertson Nicoll, The Expositor’s Bible: A Complete Exposition of The Bible, in Six Volumes, $10.99
- Pre-Order and Save $50: John Stott Sermon Archive, $99.99
There is a little something for everyone on the list. I’d buy a JSOT Supplement series for $1.99 any time. Rebecca McLaughlin’s Confronting Jesus is excellent, as is Gswry Burge’s Jesus and the Land. The commentaries by C. K. Barrett (2 Corinthians ) and F. F. Bruce (Galatians) are excellent bargains.

Finally, in December 2023, you can get a free copy of Logos Fundamentals to give away when you buy a Logos 10 package for 20% off. This is a great way to give a gift to a pastor or teacher in your church who does not yet use Logos (and get yourself a nice discount on an upgrade). Current users have various upgrade paths, and if you spend more than $200, use the code CHRISTMASJOY at checkout to save $25 on your order.
You can still get Logos Fundamental ($49.99) or Basic (free) packages and take advantage of the free Logos Book of the Month promotion. Scroll down to the bottom of the page for the free/cheap packages. All it takes is a Faithlife account, and you can read your books using the iOS or Android app, the Logos web app, or the (much more powerful) desktop version for both Windows and Mac. Check out my first-look review of Logos 10.
