Black Friday Deals from Logos Bible Software

Logos Bible Softare Black Friday

It’s time for the annual celebration of American consumerism, Black Friday. I don’t really get into the crowds and festive Holiday music, but I can get into a Logos Black Friday Sale. For this weekend, you can save 50% or more on NIV Application Commentaries, The New International Greek Testament Commentaries, The New Testament Library Series, the Smyth & Helwys Bible Commentaries, Zondervan Exegetical Commentaries, New Covenant Commentaries, Interpretation Commentaries (80% off!), and the International Critical Commentaries are $14.99 each, including the newer (expensive) volumes. Keep clicking those “see more” links to find additional deals.

A few other discounts that caught my eye:

  • N. T. Wright and Michael Bird, The New Testament in its World: Course and Study Pack
  • Commentary on the New Testament from the Talmud and Midrash, Volume 3 (reviewed here)
  • New International Dictionary of Old Testament Theology and Exegesis
  • Theology of the Old Testament Collection (11 volumes, Sheffield)

Logos also has a great sale on Logos 6 libraries. Even thought Logos 9 is the latest and greatest, Logos had a slew of custom basic packages that were retired. But for this Black Friday weekend they are bringing them back with huge discounts. Buying a library saves you up to 90% compared to buying individual books. You get an extra 15% off—or 25% if you already own Logos 9.

This Black Friday Logos sale runs through 11/28 @11:59PM PST, so get them while they are hot.

Time is also running out on two free books from Baker Academic: Millard Erickson’s Making Sense of the Trinity: Three Crucial Questions (Baker Academic 2000) and Scripture and Truth, edited by D. A. Carson; John D. Woodbridge (Revised edition, Baker, 1992). Scripture and Truth collects twelve essays by well-known evangelical scholars discussing inspiration from biblical, historical, or theological perspectives. In addition to the two free books, Logos has 24 additional resources also on sale at deep discounts (total retail value $750). There is a little bit for everyone here, biblical and theological studies as well as some church history and pastoral resources.  Here is my overview of the sale from the beginning of the month. If you do not already have Logos Bible Software, you should get Logos Fundamental ($49.99) or Basic (free) packages and take advantage of the free Logos Book of the Month promotion (check out my review of Logos 9). All it takes is a Faithlife account, and you can read your books using the iOS or Android app, the Logos web app, or the (much more powerful) desktop version for both Windows or Mac.

Grab these free and deep discounted books until 11/30/2021.
