The March 2015 Biblical Studies Carnival will be hosted by  Jacob Prahlow over at Pursuing Veritas. This is a “call for links” to blogs of interest published in March,. Email or tweet the links to Jacob (prahlowjj at slu.edu, or @prahlowjacob) or leave a comment on his blog with a link.

I am always looking for more volunteers for the 2015 Carnival Season.  Jeff Carter from That JeffCarter Was Here returns to host the April Carnival and  Claude Mariottini (@DrMariottini) has volunteer for May. Doctoral Candidate at Cambridge William A. Ross will host the June Carnival. The rest of the year is more or less open.  Please email me (plong42 at gmail.com) and pick your month!

Carnivals are a great way to attract attention to your site if you are new blogger, but more importantly it gives you a chance to highlight the best and the brightest in the world of bibliblogs.

Mike Skinner has posted the September Carnival at cataclysmic.  The theme is college football, which appears to be some sort of mid-western cult that takes over the entire culture for a few months each fall. Maybe the two top teams in the NTC (New Testament Conference) can play in the Schweitzer Bowl in January?

This is an excellent collection of links highlighting the best of September. Head over to cataclysmic, read the Carnival and click all the links, and thank Mike for his hard work.

In other blogging news, Jim West offers his own collection of carnival links. Brian Small has a few Hebrews Highlights. Brian Renshaw is hosting the October Carnival at his new eponymous blog, and Jim West will unite the schismatic Blogging Community once again in November. I have no more volunteers, so if you were thinking of hosting a carnival, now would be a great time to hear from you. December (due Jan 1) needs a host as well as any month in 2015 (first come, first served).

Rob Bradshaw posted his August Biblical Studies Carnival at the Biblical Studies Blog. This is a great collection of links to articles of interest to those working in biblical or theological studies, including some archaeology and textual criticism. If you are in the US, take a break from your Labor Day festivities and visit Rob’s blog.

If you do not know biblicalstudies.org.uk, you are missing one of the better resources on the Internet. Rob has been collecting and scanning theological journals for years now, always careful to obtain permission to post the text online. The result of his hard work is a collection of more that 20,000 freely available articles. Some of the journals are not available on any database, and even if they were, they would be sitting behind a paywall.  Brian Small’s Hebrews Highlights  includes several links to reviews of commentaries and monographs on Hebrews.

Jonathan Homrighausen posted his July Biblical Studies Carnival at Linguae Antiquitatum. Go and check it out, it is a good one this month. Jonathan usually does some good work on linguistics and patristics on his blog, so it is good to highlight Linguae Antiquitatum this month. Jim West has an all-book collection at Zwinglius Redivivus, ending with a poem. Brian Small’s Hebrews Highlights only has a single entry for July.

July is always a slow month for BiblioBlogs, so I am sure Jonathan would appreciate your suggestions.
